Gripper Fixings

Gripper fixings are used to secure the carpet to the floor of the room.

They usually consist of a wood strip that have metal teeth which hold the carpet by biting into the backing material.

The fixings are laid around the perimeter of the room, usually nailed, screwed or glued, depending on the type of subfloor.
